Just got back from a stay at a hotel with AMAZING city views! the breakfast until 12 was a real treat - leisurely mornings are the best! Would choose it again. the sun terrace is even better than in photos.

Running along the canals early felt refreshing. The hotel's strategic location eased my late airport-to-hotel commute. The modern design and spacious rooms appealed to my creative side. The international cuisine with a twist surprised pleasantly. The lounge and marina added a fun touch. Enjoyed exploring nearby hidden gems and soaking in the city's vibe. Friendly staff made my stay even more delightful. The air conditioning made the room cozy. Ready for my next adventure! Guten Tag!

Fabulous staff and rooms, in general a wonderful stay for another night.

The staff was pleasant & superfriendly. I asked for superior queen room with a mini-bar, climate control and an individual safe, it was relaxing. Check in was good. Lots of food at the varied and marvellous breakfast.

The hotel staff were super welcoming and new furniture and well designed rooms were a plus! The location is spot on—bicycle rental and a bagel shop right next door and all attractions and bars easily accessible by foot. The sun terrace and comfortable beds made it a great place to unwind, even though my espresso-loving self missed having a shot with breakfast. 🌞

I truly enjoyed location and stuff and would definitely go again. Overall it was a fab stay at the same time.

It was exceptionally clean, with great staff and location. Spacious bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. I stayed here for 7 nights and liked my choice.

Despite a minor issue at check-in, Room Mate Aitana was a delight. The executive room was spacious and quiet, with a comfy bed and attentive staff. Ideally located for exploring Amsterdam. A wonderful stay overall!

Mate's location near Central Station and docks is perfect for exploring the Netherlands. Convenient bike rental right across the street. Astonishing harbor views and a beautiful area for breakfast with a wide selection and gluten-free options.

Clean brand-new hotel, the staff and location were very good. The breakfast offered pastries, granola and cakes, was with view on the water.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Mate. The beds were great, the shower was fantastic, and the rooms were clean. Mrs. Kamille at the front desk provided excellent service and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The hotel's location near Central Station was convenient, with easy access to trams. There were also nice breakfast options nearby. Highly recommend!

We were there for 1 day, everything was excellent, loved its unbeatable location just next door to central station and everything-hotel restaurant and the center. They gave us a queen room with a nice view and ironing board.

Staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, surprising me with thoughtful birthday decorations and treats. The comfortable bed and clean room made for a relaxing stay, complemented by a nice sun terrace. The hotel's location near charming landmarks like Our Lord in the Attic Museum and within walking distance to many attractions added to our family bonding experience in Amsterdam.

I chose this hotel for a workshop due to its modern building on the new artificial island in the IJ River, close to the new Courthouse, Central Station, and the city's main attractions. It provided all necessary facilities for my business needs, including meeting rooms, a business area, and a fitness center.

The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with extensive office facilities.

The staff seem to be lacking in efficiency, with long wait times for check-in and check-out.

The room at Room Mate Aitana was spacious and had beautiful views of Amsterdam. I felt so comfortable with the air conditioning and free WiFi. The queen size bed was perfect for me after a long day of exploring the city.

I personally found the double bed a bit too firm for my liking.

The complimentary bread was pure carb magic, and the nearby culinary gems were a foodie's dream. Plus, the welcoming vibe in the lobby and the stunning harbor views added a touch of charm.

The mini bar fridge hiccup messed with my child's medicine storage, and the forgotten promise of freezing ice packs left me in a chilly fix. Amsterdam's vibes kept me warm and smiling.

The panoramic views from the room were so breathtaking that I often found myself lost in the beauty of Amsterdam's historical city center and the IJ River, feeling like I was in a real-life painting. It was truly a sight to behold and made my mornings and evenings incredibly serene and magical.

Fantastic Location, Amazing Views, and Friendly Staff

The staff, especially Jasmin at the reception, were very kind and helpful. the hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and city center, making it easy to explore various attractions. the room was spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant offered delicious food. the quiet location provided a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day of sightseeing.

While my stay was mostly positive, there were a couple of things that could be improved. the pillow was not very comfortable, and the quality could be better.

Stunning views with floor-to-ceiling windows, quiet and safe surroundings near transportation, and friendly and helpful staff like Laura at Guest Relations who went the extra mile to make us happy. The bed was also incredibly comfortable.

the aitana had a magnificent view of the harbour from my corner room, with walls all glass. the bed was very comfortable, aircon worked well, and the shower was strong. the hotel staff were top-notch, professional, courteous, and attentive to our needs. a 10-minute walk from the central station, the location was convenient and the hotel offered excellent guest services.

We recently stayed at Mate for the second time and once again had a fantastic experience. the rooms were incredibly spacious, the breakfast had a great variety to choose from, and everything was kept very clean. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect, especially on a nice day. Although we had a small issue with unplanned maintenance waking us up one morning, it was quickly and professionally resolved upon checkout without us even having to ask. We truly appreciate their swift response and will definitely be back again. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at Mate. the hotel decor was stylish and modern, and the rooms were comfortable and well-serviced. the location was perfect, being just a short walk from Centraal Station and offering easy access to transportation around the city. We especially enjoyed the wonderful views over the water from our room. the TV in our room had a great selection of channels and used smart technology. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for restaurants and transportation. we were impressed with the high standard of the hotel and would highly recommend it.

The hotel's location was perfect, with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The service was top-notch, as the staff were always available and friendly. We appreciated the many amenities, such as the car hire and bike rentals, which made exploring the area a breeze. The room itself was spacious and clean with great facilities, including a minibar and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. The terrace and patio were perfect for enjoying the beautiful view.
